Party Bag - Bread Roll Mix Instructions
If you have received a gift bag with our Bread Roll Mix, it is likely that you or your child, will have recently attended a Pudding Pie Cookery Party, we hope it was fun! With this Dough Kit, we hope you have even more fun at home.
Now down to the important bit the Bread Roll Mix …. We have listed below the method for making these delicious Bread Rolls, also there’s a helpful video where you can watch us making them too. We hope that with these two pieces of information, you will have some fun creating your own delicious Bread Rolls. They are so easy and we hope you have fun and more importantly, you enjoy them!
Ingredients:
Flour, yeast & salt (Gluten Free Version is made with Gluten Free Flour & Yeast and has Sugar and Xanthan Gum)
Method:
- Just add 88 grams of tepid water (For the Gluten Free version add 138grams water + 3/4 Tsp of Oil).
- Mix the water and the flour mixture together and turn out onto the table or work-surface.
- knead until a smooth dough for about 7 minutes, do not be tempted to add more flour.
- Then return to a bowl and cover for an hour to prove.
- Then divide the risen dough into 4 and shape into rolls.
- Place on a baking tray (with Greaseproof Paper) with space in between and cover with a damp clean tea-towel for a further 3/4 hour.
- Preheat the oven to the hottest setting and bake the rolls for about 12-15 minutes. (For the Gluten Free version bake until golden)
- Leave to cool and enjoy.
