What a day, 9 girls for a Hen Cookery Party, we made Scones, Bread and much more. Everyone had a lovely time, the weather was great so Pimms in the garden to top the day off! thanks to everyone it was great.

We had a great day yesterday at the Middleton Cheney Month of Madness, we have 3 groups of children throughout the day, 60 in total, they were all great and they had a fantastic time making and eating their creations. They made Fairy Cakes, Cookies, Vegetable Tarts, Sausage Rolls and Cheesecakes. Checkout some of the video here.

Pre-School Workshops

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Pre-School Classes. It is really important to us, that children learn to eat a healthy and nutritious diet at an early age. Now with the help of the Lottery Funded Awards For All, we are able to reach out to schools and Pre-schools, offering the children the chance to touch, taste and smell different foods, whilst hopefully having an impact on the way they eat now and in the future. We have also just completed a very successful After School Cookery Club along the same lines with Brize Norton School.
Local School Workshop

Just finished at one of our local schools. We did food during World War 2, the kids loved it!
I would like to say a huge thanks to all the teachers for the effort they put into decorating the classroom in a War Time theme.
I had great fun and I hope all the kids enjoyed it.
Chocolate Fondue Party

Wow what fun! Chocolate Fountain and Fondue, Chocolate Heaven. We ran a children’s birthday party at the weekend, all the girls had fantastic fun, with fresh fruit and marshmallows, everyone had a real treat. Hope you had a great birthday Katie, thanks for a great welcome and the gift was lovely thank you.
The International Hen Party

An absolute fantastic evening, I do love doing Hen Party’s. Tonight we had, cuisine from 3 Countries, Belgium, Denmark & Britain as the Hen has connections with all 3 countries.
I had fantastic space to work in, with 10 people cooking their own dishes on gas stoves along the table and all the girls were so incredibly welcoming and made me part of their celebrations. It was incredibly fun, I even received a gift and a glass of bubbly, and left having met a wonderful crowd of people.
Friday Nights Hen Party
Sunday, May 17th, 2009What a funny experience never to forget. A unique Hen Party that was being held on a long boat, started off with the girls being a little later than planned, a half mile walk to the position of the boat, then to top it all the heavens opened and soaked us all, to the point that all my storage boxes had an inch of water in them. It would not have made any difference if I had actually been swimming in the canal, as I was wet through.
However, all that taken into account though, it was a fantastic and cosy evening as there was very little room to work. Thanks to all those girls who certainly made it a wonderful night I will not forget.

New Weekly Cookery Club for Children
