We have just finished another great Hen Party down in the South of Oxford. We entertained 12 ladies with, Filo Parcels with ricotta, spinach, artichoke and cranberries, Fish Pie, Chocolate Pots with a biscuit base and chocolate topping.

Today we are hosting our 20th Hen Party this year …

We love Hen Parties, they are always fantastic fun! This time we have 11 ladies in their own hired Cottage, making Filo Pastry Parcels, Schnitzels and Chocolate Pots.

It will be a great time, lets hope they are all up for some fun!

What a day, 9 girls for a Hen Cookery Party, we made Scones, Bread and much more. Everyone had a lovely time, the weather was great so Pimms in the garden to top the day off!  thanks to everyone it was great.

An absolute fantastic evening, I do love doing Hen Party’s. Tonight we had, cuisine from 3 Countries, Belgium, Denmark & Britain as the Hen has connections with all 3 countries.

I had fantastic space to work in, with 10 people cooking their own dishes on gas stoves along the table and all the girls were so incredibly welcoming and made me part of their celebrations. It was incredibly fun, I even received a gift and a glass of bubbly, and left having met a wonderful crowd of people.

What a funny experience never to forget. A unique Hen Party that was being held on a long boat, started off with the girls being a little later than planned, a half mile walk to the position of the boat, then to top it all the heavens opened and soaked us all, to the point that all my storage boxes had an inch of water in them. It would not have made any difference if I had actually been swimming in the canal, as I was wet through.

However, all that taken into account though, it was a fantastic and cosy evening as there was very little room to work. Thanks to all those girls who certainly made it a wonderful night I will not forget.
